Please join the efforts of thousands of Vogue Magazine readers by boycotting the August issue featuring First Twins, Barbara and Jenna Bush. It comes as no surprise that the First Twins are now entering the limelight with media appearances in Vogue Magazine, stretching their legs as fashion/beauty icons. The issue is set to come out right before the Republic National Convention in New York City. The family of hawkish presidents has often been used as toys of a campaign to soften the candidate's harsh image. Promoting the dangerous and selfish politics of President George W. Bush by elevating his pretty daughters to celebrity status is a poor decision on Vogue editor, Anna Wintour's part. Explore the pictures, information, and links on this website, and remember to boycott the August issue of Vogue and tell us about it by emailing us your pledge! Plus, you can tell Anna Wintour directly by emailing Vogue, writing a letter, or posting on their forum. The effects of the American media are everywhere, and the Bush Twins, while beautiful, are not role models for young American women. Please join us in sending a strong and clear message that American women want real role models, not drunken school girls pandering their father's destructive politics.

Read what other people have to say about Vogue promoting Bush politics:
President Bush is not an effective leader. Any small step towards taking him down and getting him out of office is a step worth taking. I will not buy the August issue of Vogue.
~Natalie, Burlington, VT
I agree that President Bush is not a good leader, and that he needs to lose the election in November. But, it is important to make citizens more interested in politics. And maybe featuring Bush's daughters in a popular magazine will make politics a bit more intersting to the public. Still, I pledge not to buy the August issue of Vogue because I do not want to support Bush and his agenda.
~JoAnn, Maine
